Pineapple Mint Mentha suaveolens Variegata is an attractive variegated mint with white margins. As with most mints, this is a vigorous spreader and makes a good ground cover. The soft, furry leaves are crinkled and have hairs on both upper and lower surfaces, which is one of the things that deters deer browse. Use caution in that it is a vigorous spreader and can overtake gardens, especially rich loamy fertile soils.
