The Kiwiberries Hardy Red Actinidia arguta or simply Hardy Red Kiw is a female kiwi vine that produces approximately 2-inch-long torpedo – shaped berries. The kiwi berries are an attractive deep burgundy skin color when ripe with the that is also a deep red. Some say it has the flavor profile of kiwi, cranberry, and cherry. With most kiwi berries you have to give the squeeze test to see if it is ripe, but this variety is about the only one that changes color when it is perfect for picking. You can get a large harvest over an extended period of time.
