Kiwiberries Clark Actinidia arguta is a male variety needed to pollinate female agruta varieties. A single male will pollinate up to 8 females. Please note that the male kiwiberries do not bear fruit. Compatible with all A. arguta females.
Native to east Asia, the kiwiberry is a smooth-skinned relative of the fuzzy supermarket kiwi but is far superior in flavor. Kiwis require full sun and a sturdy trellis and yearly pruning for the best results. You will also need a male variety close for cross pollination, but keep in mind that a male kiwi can pollinate up to 8 females.
