Chandler blueberry is a highbush type cultivar. Plants will grow to a mature height of 5 ½ feet. The bush is upright spreading slightly. The plants will tolerate high moisture and heavier soils than other highbush varieties.
Chandler Blueberry ripens mid-season and is a high-bush type cultivar. Chandler bears the largest blueberry fruit that we offer. Berry size is extremely large, 45 berries per 8-ounce cup. Each bush can yield up to 15lbs of fruit per plant. Fruits are of excellent quality, having good firmness with a small dry stem scar. Light blue color and fine flavor with large berries are the attributes to Chandler.
