Sorry we do not ship. The Cornus Mas Cornelian Cherry is a small tree that has yellow flowers in the early spring and edible red berries in mid-summer. The flowers are small with 4 yellow petals, but the flowers form in clumps making them look larger.
The fruit is an oblong drupe with a single seed. The fruit tastes slightly astringent while sweet and tart at the same time. The fruit is mainly used for making jams or a cranberry sauce replacement. I personally enjoy eating my way around the yard and spend a good bit of time in front of this tree munching on the fruit.
The leaves look just like the green dogwood leaves of other varieties. The Cornus Mas Cornelian Cherry is from far south west Asia and south Europe.
Cornus Mas Cornelian Cherry Seedlings are seeds from our tree that went through the two-year germination process. They will have better root systems than softwood or hardwood cuttings and should prove to be a strong and hardy tree for you.
