I love a good fig. I have been growing the below figs on my property for several years and they are at least hardy to USDA hardiness zone 7, although I would argue I live in a USDA hardiness zone 6 micro-climate on Jersey Mountain just outside of Romney, WV.

Check out our lovely figs grown at Great Escape Farms. All of the figs we sell are growing at our property and have been for a number of years. Most people think you have to be in a tropical environment to grow figs, but that is not the case. While they may die back to the ground during a bad winter, they will spring up from the hardy roots the following year and still produce these wonderfully amazing and delicious fruits.
