We no longer carry this product. Joel Bush Cherry is a red tart cherry that ripens much later in the year than most cherries, ripening in late summer. Pink flowers appear in spring making it highly ornamental as well as an excellent plant for edible landscaping in the home garden. Joel is somewhat self-fertile, but best planted with Joy or Jan for best pollination.
It has a small stature standing at only 3-foot wide and 4-foot tall but still has fruit yields of 8 to 10 lbs. This is one of 3 excellent bush cherry hybrids (including Jan, Joel, and Joy) developed by the late Dr. Elwyn Meader of New Hampshire.
