Sold Out. Kukuso Korean Mulberry Morus alba is a deciduous tree that has large sweet fruit, up to 2” long and ½” wide. While it prefers full sun and open spaces it is tolerant of some shade. The tree is very hardy and is a pioneer species growing in areas too harsh for other plants to grow.
Many birds, including chickens, love to eat the ripe fruit which is dark red to purple-black. Kukuso Korean Mulberry Morus alba variety of mulberry is self-fertile. This plant is native to Korea.
